I went over the dietary analysis packet and questions (due Tuesday). Then, we went over the rest of the digestive system anatomy and watched a bit of Gunther!

Periods 2, 6, 7
We started class with a "Do Now" by filling out a table showing the big picture concepts behind cellular respiration and photosynthesis (organelles, organisms, products, reactants, purpose of each). Then we compared and contrasted the processes. Finally, I showed the first part of a 2-day demo investigating how cellular respiration and photosynthesis are related to one another, using my own breath (CO2) and a photosynthetic plant.
Homework: Chapter 9 Quest tomorrow!

Period 5
We went to A202 to work on analyzing our diets using Nutritiondata.com. I passed out the packet that goes along with the analysis and explained the assignment.
