Period 1
We started talking about nutrition by going over some vocabulary using the PowerPoint and an article called "Why Eating Makes Your Hungry" from the South Beach Diet. I also handed out a summary of the glycemic index and glycemic load.

Periods 2, 6, 7
Today we took the 75-point "Quest" on ATP, cellular respiration, and photosynthesis (chapter 9). After the quest, we gathered data from our photosynthesis/cellular respiration lab demo that we set up yesterday. The analysis and conclusion questions (and entire completed packet) are due Monday (except for period 6: due Tuesday).
